Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor
Brand Design | Art Direction | Motion Design | Environmental Design | Video Production
I created the logo and identity for an ice cream dining experience that evokes a sense of warm nostalgia with every scoop.
The Logo
Early on in the creative process, I was inspired by early 20th century design motifs. I created a typographic hierarchy with a mix of both ornate and geometric fonts that all juxtapose each other nicely— all surrounded by a unique container shape that creates a badge-like simplicity to the final logo.
The Brand
I designed supplemental creative elements such as patterns, illustrations, and a color palette that complement and expand upon the logo.
The Menus
After building the brand elements, I created a printed menu that features magnetic flavor cards that can be added and removed as flavors sell out throuhgout the day. I also designed a series of digital menu board screens that featured rotating imagery and menu items within the restaurant space.
The Space
I worked with a team of interior designers to help create wall graphics and signage that would complement and expand upon the brand identity and overall restaurant space.
There’s more where that came from!
